FBM KLCI Futures Open Mostly Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 12 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened mostly higher on Monday.

At 9.32 am, the October 2026 and November 2026 contracts rose 2.5 points each to 1,610.0 and 1,611.5, respectively, while the December 2026 contract added 3.0 points to 1,618.0.

The March 2027 contract fell half a point to 1,600.0.

Turnover stood at 1,592 lots, while open interest totalled 40,756 contracts.

At 9.53 am, the FBM KLCI rose 5.46 points to 1,613.91 from Friday’s close of 1,608.45.
