iCents Group Secures Semiconductor Facility Project Worth RM36.15 Mln

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 12 (Bernama) -- iCents Group Holdings Bhd has secured a two-stage semiconductor wafer processing facility project in Selangor with an aggregate potential contract value of RM36.15 million, excluding sales and service tax (SST).

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, the company said its wholly owned subsidiary VC Engineering Sdn Bhd had accepted a letter of award (LoA) from a Malaysian subsidiary of a United States-based company for the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) works.

It said under the LoA, stage 1, valued at RM21.05 million excluding SST, has been formally awarded and is estimated to be completed in 18 weeks, while stage 2, valued at RM15.10 million excluding SST, has its scope of works identified in the letter of award and is subject to a subsequent written award notice from the employer.

“The project further strengthens the group’s presence in the semiconductor industry and reinforces its capabilities in delivering integrated EPCC solutions for advanced manufacturing facilities,” it said.

iCents Group said the project is expected to contribute positively to the net assets and earnings per share of the company and its group of companies for the financial year ending June 30, 2027 onwards until its completion.
