FBM KLCI Futures Open Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 13 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened lower on Tuesday.

At 9.30 am, the October 2026 contract lost 6.5 points to 1,604.0, while the November 2026 and December 2026 contracts went down 5.5 points to 1.606.0 and 1,612.0, respectively. 

The March 2027 note fell 7.5 points to 1,594.0.

Turnover stood at 1,447 lots, while open interest totalled 40,770 contracts.

At 9.58 am, the FBM KLCI eased 1.22 points to 1,616.79 from Monday’s close of 1,618.01.
