Kelington Secures RM128 Mln Contract For Data Storage Facility In Sarawak
KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 13 (Bernama) -- Kelington Group Bhd’s unit, Kelington Technologies Sdn Bhd (KTSB), has secured a RM128 million contract to design and build water generation and wastewater treatment systems for an advanced data storage manufacturing facility in Kuching, Sarawak.
The group said in a Bursa Malaysia filing today that the contract was awarded by a manufacturing company in connection with its expansion project in Kuching.
"Following the award, the aggregate value of contracts and purchase orders secured by KTSB from the customer for the project will increase from approximately RM416 million to approximately RM544 million.
"The award is expected to commence immediately and be completed by April 2028," it said.
KTSB is expected to continue securing further contracts from the customer covering various scopes of work in relation to the project.
"Any material development arising therefrom will be announced by the company, as and when required," said Kelington.
