Taiwan’s CTBC Bank Wins Three CorporateTreasurer Awards In Singapore
KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 22 (Bernama) -- Taiwan’s CTBC Bank has won three awards at The CorporateTreasurer Awards 2026 in Singapore, including Best for FX/Hedging Solutions – North Asia, marking its fifth recognition from the publication.
The bank also won Best Trade/Supply Chain Finance Bank – North Asia and was Highly Commended in the Best Transaction Bank – North Asia category. CTBC Bank Singapore Branch Deputy General Manager Yi-Tzu Lei accepted the awards at a ceremony on Oct 20.
The CorporateTreasurer evaluated institutions on performance, business strategy, innovation and value creation. According to CTBC Bank, the publication recognised the bank for its strategic execution, product innovation and commitment to developing an Asia-Pacific cross-border financial ecosystem.
The foreign exchange award recognised a cross-border US dollar-Indian rupee service model that CTBC introduced to help Taiwanese companies in India manage funding and currency risks. The bank also provided long-dated US dollar-Chinese yuan forward hedging for major cross-border financing deals.
In a statement, the bank said the organiser cited its tailored solutions in helping clients navigate India’s complex regulatory requirements and manage cross-border risks.
The trade and supply chain finance award recognised CTBC’s one-stop cross-border platform, which combines cash management, trade finance and supply chain services. The bank said the platform uses flexible financing and digital workflows to help clients improve working capital and supply chain resilience.
The transaction banking commendation reflected the bank’s factoring expertise and its cross-border payment, global cash management and liquidity services. It also recognised the bank’s integration of application programming interface (API) technology with local clearing systems.
CTBC Bank has more than 370 outlets in 14 countries and regions, and describes itself as Taiwan’s most international bank. It has held a leading position in Taiwan’s derivatives market for more than 20 consecutive years.
The bank said it has received more than 50 international awards for its foreign exchange and cross-border business this year.
