Main Market-Bound Big Caring Aims To Raise RM637.8 Mln From IPO

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 29 (Bernama) -- Retail pharmacy chain Big Caring Group Bhd (BCG) aims to raise RM637.8 million through its initial public offering (IPO), en route to its listing on Bursa Malaysia’s Main Market.

The IPO is priced at RM1.08 per share, and the listing is slated for Nov 19, 2026.

Of the proceeds raised, BCG said 4.7 per cent is earmarked to establish a new distribution centre within 36 months from the listing date to expand capacity, as its existing Bukit Raja distribution centre operated at an utilisation rate of 80.2 per cent as at Sept 30, 2026.

“Another 89.5 per cent will be (allocated) for the repayment of bank borrowings within 3 months from the listing date, while the remaining 5.8 per cent will be utilised for listing fees and expenses,” it said in a statement following its prospectus launch today.

Meanwhile, BCG said that based on the enlarged 7.4 billion issued ordinary shares and the IPO price, BCG's expected market capitalisation upon listing is approximately RM8 billion.

“BCG’s IPO encompasses an offering of up to 1.9 billion ordinary shares comprising a public issue of 590.5 million new ordinary shares and an offer for sale of 1.3 billion existing ordinary shares, representing 8.0 per cent and 17.5 per cent of its enlarged issued ordinary shares, respectively,” it said.
