No Rubber Production Incentive Payment For October 2026 - MRB

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 30 (Bernama) -- The Rubber Production Incentive (IPG) for cuplump and latex is not activated nationwide for this month, according to the Malaysian Rubber Board (MRB).

In a statement, the board said the the IPG is activated only when the average monthly farmgate price of cuplump falls below RM3 per kilogramme (kg), with the IPG for latex activated concurrently.

For latex, the IPG rate is fixed at 90 sen per kg for material with 100 per cent dry rubber content (DRC).

In October 2026, MRB said, the average farmgate prices for cuplump were RM4.55 per kg in Peninsular Malaysia, RM4.20 per kg in Sabah and RM3.90 per kg in Sarawak.

Given that all the prices exceeded the activation threshold, no IPG payment will be made for October 2026, it added.
