Microlink Unit Bags RM59.58 Mln Contract Extension For Immigration Screening System

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 6 (Bernama) -- Microlink Solutions Bhd’s wholly owned unit Microlink Systems Sdn Bhd has secured a 12-month contract extension worth RM59.58 million for the advance passenger screening (APS) system for Jabatan Imigresen Malaysia, bringing the contract's total value to RM137.92 million.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Microlink said its subsidiary had received a letter from the Ministry of Home Affairs (KDN) dated Nov 5, 2026.

The group said the additional scope covers continued application services for onboarding additional airlines, infrastructure services, software licence renewals, and support and maintenance services for the APS system.

“The extension forms part of, and is to be read together with, the original contract. A supplementary agreement will be entered into between KDN and Microlink Systems to formalise the extension,” it said.

Microlink said the extension is expected to contribute positively to the group's revenue, earnings and net assets per share for the financial year ending June 30, 2027, over the extended contract period.
