KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 9 (Bernama) -- The MADANI government has worked to rebuild Malaysia's fiscal resilience by bringing down the fiscal deficit from 6.4 per cent of gross domestic product (GDP) in 2021 to 3.6 per cent in 2026, with a further reduction to 3.3 per cent expected through gradual and measured fiscal consolidation.

Budget 2027 Estimated At RM459.8 Bln, Up 3.6 Pct From 2026 -- MoF

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 9 (Bernama) -- The Federal Government has estimated Budget 2027 to be at RM459.8 billion, up 3.6 per cent from the revised 2026 allocation, equivalent to 19.8 per cent of gross domestic product (GDP).
