KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 1 (Bernama) -- Global air passenger demand for August 2026, measured in revenue passenger kilometres (RPK), contracted by 0.8 per cent compared with August 2025 due to interruptions in the recovery trajectory for carriers in West Asia, according to the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 30 (Bernama) -- Total global air cargo demand, measured in cargo tonne-kilometres (CTK), increased by 4.4 per cent in August 2026 compared with August 2025, with international operations recording a 5.3 per cent increase, according to the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 31 (Bernama) -- Global demand for air cargo, measured in cargo tonne-kilometres (CTK), grew 3.9 per cent in July from a year earlier, while international demand rose 4.7 per cent, the International Air Transport Association (IATA) said.
