KUALA LUMPUR, July 22 (Bernama) -- Malaysia's automotive sales are expected to remain resilient in the second half of 2026 (2H2026), supported by the introduction of more localised electric vehicle (EV) models and stronger demand for hybrid vehicles, fuelled by consumers' growing preference for new energy vehicles.
KUALA LUMPUR, July 21 (Bernama) -- Malaysia’s total industry volume (TIV) is now projected to reach 800,000 units in 2026, up from the earlier forecast of 790,000 units, driven by stronger-than-expected demand, according to the Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA).

KUALA LUMPUR, June 19 (Bernama) -- Malaysia’s automotive industry recorded a 15 per cent decline in total industry volume (TIV), falling to 61,250 vehicles in May 2026, compared to 72,113 vehicles in April 2026.
