KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 11 (Bernama) -- The increase in the Rubber Production Incentive (IPG) to RM3.30 per kilogramme (kg) in the tabling of Budget 2027 is expected to help cover part of production costs and provide additional income support for smallholders.
KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 8 (Bernama) -- The Ministry of Plantation and Commodities (KPK) has accepted the proposal to establish a disaster and disease control fund for the agri-commodity sector as one of Budget 2027’s main initiatives to help reduce losses for smallholders due to natural disasters, pest attacks, and crop diseases.
