The restaurant is known globally for turning meals into captivating performances, with chefs preparing dishes live in front of diners using the art of tableside teppanyaki.

The new outlet features a main dining area with a limited-seat teppanyaki station, offering front-row views of the chefs’ impressive cooking skills. The menu has also been expanded to include a variety of modern Japanese dishes, highlighting bold flavours and high-quality ingredients.

Private dining rooms are also available for more intimate gatherings, such as celebrations or business meetings, and come with personalised service in a stylish setting.

Benihana, which originated in New York City, now operates 79 outlets worldwide. It has built a reputation as a destination for those seeking both quality food and entertaining dining experiences.

Continuum Hospitality Group is bringing Benihana to Malaysia in partnership with Minor International, under a master franchise agreement.

In the same statement, Benihana Malaysia director Kyran Arusalm said the brand is about more than just food.

“It’s about creating moments — the laughter around the table, the amazement during the performance, and the flavours that stay with you long after the meal is done. We are excited to share that magic with Malaysia,” he said.

Meanwhile, Continuum Hospitality Group managing director Kesavan Purusotman said the company is proud to bring the Benihana experience to Malaysia.

“We are even prouder to introduce it at a landmark location like Suria KLCC. We look forward to welcoming guests to a place where great food, lively entertainment and lasting memories come together,” he said.
