Agrobank Opens Entries For Agro Biz Awards 2025 To Honour Agri-community Excellence

KUALA LUMPUR, June 18 (Bernama) -- Agrobank announces the opening of entries for the Agro Biz Awards 2025 today until July 31, 2025.

The bank said in a statement today that the award is aimed at recognising excellence and outstanding contributions by industry players in the agri-community (agricultural community).

It said the award, which targets businesses (biz) and entrepreneurs across various agri-community sectors, will feature five main categories, namely Agrobank SME of the Year, Agrobank Biz Women Award, Agrobank Biz Youth Award, Agrobank Biz Innovation Award, and Agrobank Biz Disability Empowerment Award.

“The Agrobank SME of the Year recognises small and medium enterprises (SME) that demonstrate excellence in their business operations, while the Agrobank Biz Women Award recognises female entrepreneurs who pioneer and mentor other women involved in business activities across the entire food supply chain.

“(As for the third category), the Agrobank Biz Youth Award recognises young entrepreneurs aged between 18 and 40 who lead the agricultural and agri-food sectors in efforts to increase the involvement of young people,” it said.

Agrobank said the Agrobank Biz Innovation Award honours individuals, companies, or organisations that have demonstrated outstanding innovation in enhancing productivity in the agricultural and agri-food sectors.

“(Meanwhile), the Agrobank Biz Disability Empowerment Award recognises entrepreneurs with disabilities as a symbolic appreciation for their contributions and achievements in the agricultural and agri-food sectors,” it said.

The bank said interested participants can download the entry form via its official portal at www.agrobank.com.my.

“Alternatively, application forms are also available at Agrobank branches nationwide. Completed application forms must be submitted to the nearest Agrobank branch along with the required supporting documents,” it said.

It said participants are required to submit a comprehensive achievement report demonstrating the positive impact of their businesses in the agricultural and agri-food sectors.

“As supporting material, a participation video not exceeding three minutes must also be provided. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted to attend interview sessions and presentations to strengthen their applications.

“All eligibility criteria and nomination procedures are subject to the established terms and conditions,” it added.
