Gamuda 3Q FY2026 Net Profit Rises 5 Pct To RM258 Mln, Declares 5 Sen Dividend

KUALA LUMPUR, June 25 (Bernama) -- Gamuda Bhd’s net profit for the third quarter of financial year 2026 (3Q FY2026) rose five per cent to RM258 million, supported by strong contributions from its domestic construction order book.

The group also declared a second interim dividend of five sen per ordinary share, bringing the total year-to-date payout to 10 sen.

Revenue for the period under review rose by 38 per cent to RM4.5 billion, said the engineering and construction group in a Bursa Malaysia filing today.

“The group’s construction order book reached a new record of RM52 billion following RM11.7 billion in new project wins this quarter.

“Year-to-date wins now stand at RM25.1 billion, comprising a water supply scheme, a hyperscale data centre in Malaysia, solar farms in Australia and a Mass Rapid Transit system project in Taiwan,” it added.

For the nine months ended April 30, 2026, Gamuda’s net profit rose five per cent to RM703 million while its revenue grew 12 per cent to RM13 billion.

“Construction revenue and earnings for the period rose 15 per cent and seven per cent respectively, bolstered by robust progress in domestic projects,” it said.

The group’s gearing has temporarily increased to 73 per cent due to strategic landbank acquisitions aimed at enhancing its quick-turnaround project portfolio in Vietnam and Singapore, along with investments to develop existing projects.

The gearing is expected to reduce from next year onwards as the group generates revenue and cash flow from its record RM52 billion construction order book and unbilled property sales of RM7.4 billion.
