Jensen Hughes Acquires HiLT To Expand Southeast Asia Presence 

KUALA LUMPUR, July 7 (Bernama) -- Jensen Hughes has acquired Singapore-based HiLT Pte Ltd (HiLT), strengthening its presence in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region and expanding its fire protection engineering capabilities across key sectors.

The company said the acquisition enhances its ability to support clients in transportation, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and large-scale commercial and industrial developments.

With this addition, Jensen Hughes further strengthens its ability to deliver locally informed expertise backed by global resources.

Jensen Hughes chief executive officer, Raj Arora said the acquisition marks an important milestone for the company.

“Their strong technical capabilities, established presence in Southeast Asia and forward-thinking approach to complex fire and life safety challenges align closely with our strategic priorities,” he said in a statement.

Meanwhile, HiLT founder and director, Victor Ho said the partnership would strengthen the company's ability to deliver fire and life safety solutions across the APAC region.

Founded in 2002, HiLT specialises in performance-based fire engineering design and fire protection systems, including energy storage and water mist systems. The company also has expertise in structural fire engineering for steel and mass timber buildings, as well as emerging fire safety solutions such as synthetic fluorine-free foam (SFFF).

The integration is already underway, with leadership from both organisations working to ensure a smooth transition for employees and clients.
