Tafi's Unit Secures RM135 Mln Construction Contract

KUALA LUMPUR, July 15 (Bernama) – TAFI Industries Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, TAFI Home & Office Sdn Bhd has accepted a letter of award from Armani KPF2 Development Sdn Bhd involving works on a mixed commercial development in Setia Alam, Selangor.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, TAFI said the contract, worth RM135 million, involves the construction, completion and maintenance of the main building and associated works, covering structural and architectural works only, for a proposed 37-storey mixed commercial development in Jalan Setia Dagang AG U13/AG, Setia Alam.

It said the scope of works comprises the supply of labour, materials, tools, equipment and machinery for the development, which comprises 498 serviced apartments, 500 SOHO units, 17 shop offices, 352 retail units, parking facilities, surau, multipurpose hall, event hall, office and a guardhouse.

TAFI said the contract commences on July 21, 2026, and the construction period is 42 months, while the final account is to be completed within 15 months from the date of the Certificate of Practical Completion.

It said the contract is expected to contribute positively to its earnings and net tangible assets for the financial years ending June 30, 2027 to June 30, 2030.
