KLCI Futures Close Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, July 15 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed lower on Wednesday. 

The July 2026 contract eased six points to 1,719.5, August 2026 fell 5.5 points to 1,721.5, September 2026 lost four points to 1,701, and December 2026 was five points weaker at 1,701.5. 

Turnover decreased to 6,597 lots from 11,352 on Tuesday, while open interest narrowed to 45,371 contracts from 46,613 previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI eased 6.18 points, or 0.36 per cent, to close at 1,713.76 from Tuesday’s close of 1,719.94.
