During the conference, Shanxi showcased its cultural and tourism offerings, including museum collections, natural landscapes, ancient architecture and wellness retreats. The province is developing tourism initiatives centred on three major attractions — the Great Wall, the Yellow River and the Taihang Mountains.

Shanxi representatives also highlighted opportunities for cooperation in agriculture, cultural tourism development, infrastructure, and industrial transformation and upgrading. Participants from Shanxi Cultural Tourism Investment Holding Group, Shanxi Road & Bridge Construction Group and other organisations introduced investment prospects in various sectors.

The conference saw the signing of several cooperation agreements between the Shanxi Provincial Committee of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Shanxi enterprises, Malaysian chambers of commerce and companies.
