KLCI Futures Close Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, July 27 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed higher on Monday in line with the cash market. 

The July 2026 contract and December 2026 contract gained 18 points each to 1,720.0 and 1,702.5, and August 2026 as well as September 2026 contracts added 17.5 points each to 1,720.0 and 1,699.5.

Turnover increased to 16,388 lots compared with 11,798 on Friday, while open interest rose to 55,662 contracts from 51,094 previously. 

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI jumped 12.07 points to 1,713.09 from last Friday's close of 1,701.02.
