Delta Electronics Expands Malaysia Footprint With New Johor Bahru Office
JOHOR BAHRU, July 28 (Bernama) -- Taiwan’s Delta Electronics Inc, a power management and smart green solutions company, is strengthening its presence in Malaysia with the opening of a new office in Johor Bahru, located at the Southern Industrial and Logistics Clusters (SiLC) in Iskandar Puteri.
The move will strengthen its support for customers and partners amid growing investments in data centres, advanced manufacturing and digital infrastructure, complement its existing operations in Petaling Jaya and Penang and strategically position the company within the rapidly developing Johor-Singapore economic corridor.
Delta Electronics Malaysia country manager Eng Yong Ch'ng said the expansion reflected the company's long-term commitment to Malaysia and its growing focus on supporting the country's transformation driven by artificial intelligence (AI), digital infrastructure and advanced manufacturing.
"Malaysia is in a new phase of growth as AI, digital infrastructure and advanced manufacturing reshape the country's industrial landscape.
"As organisations scale these investments, the focus is no longer just on expanding capacity, but on building infrastructure that is resilient, energy efficient and ready for future demands. Our new Johor Bahru office strengthens our ability to support customers and partners as they accelerate this transformation," he said in a statement today.
The expansion comes as Malaysia continues to attract investment in data centres, advanced manufacturing and digital infrastructure, creating increased demand for resilient and energy-efficient systems to support higher power requirements, greater automation and increasingly AI-driven operations.
Delta's integrated portfolio includes power management, cooling, automation and digital infrastructure solutions aimed at helping organisations address the growing technological and energy requirements associated with these sectors.
As part of its commitment to Malaysia's digital economy, Delta said it will host the Delta Future Forward 2026 forum in Kuala Lumpur on July 30, bringing together industry professionals to discuss the infrastructure and ecosystem required to support the next phase of AI-driven growth.
Themed "Building a resilient, energy-efficient future", the forum will focus on critical infrastructure for long-term AI growth, including resilient power infrastructure, advanced cooling technologies, intelligent manufacturing and robust supply chains.
Delta Electronics president for Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand Jason Yuan said Malaysia's growing investments in AI and digital infrastructure were creating new opportunities for organisations across industries.

The forum will also examine the requirements for supporting AI growth at scale, covering data centre infrastructure, energy efficiency, advanced manufacturing, supply chain resilience and the broader ecosystem needed to strengthen Malaysia's position in the regional AI value chain.
Participants will also have the opportunity to explore demonstrations of AI data centres, microgrid-to-data centre energy systems and smart manufacturing technologies, highlighting the application of these solutions in real-world environments, the group added.
