MRB: No Rubber Production Incentive For July 2026

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 1 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian Rubber Board (MRB) said the Rubber Production Incentive (IPG) for cuplump and latex was not activated nationwide for July 2026.

In a statement, MRB said the IPG is activated when the average monthly farmgate price of cuplump rubber falls below RM3.00 per kilogramme (kg), while the incentive for latex is triggered simultaneously.

The IPG rate for latex is fixed at 90 sen per kg for latex with 100 per cent dry rubber content.

MRB said the average monthly farmgate price of cuplump rubber stood at RM3.80 per kg in Peninsular Malaysia, RM3.45 per kg in Sabah and RM3.30 per kg in Sarawak in July. As all prices exceeded the activation threshold, no IPG payment will be made for the month.
