Vantris Energy Secures Contracts Worth RM830 Mln, Order Book Exceeds RM6 Bln
KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 4 (Bernama) -- Vantris Energy Bhd had secured contracts worth RM830 million for transportation, installation and tender-assisted drilling rig (TADR) services in Malaysia.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, the integrated energy services and solutions provider said the contracts were awarded to its indirect wholly-owned subsidiaries, VTEB Offshore Sdn Bhd and VTEB Drilling Asia Sdn Bhd, which operate its engineering and construction (E&C) and drilling businesses, respectively.
Under its E&C segment, VTEB Offshore received a work order from Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd to provide offshore transportation and installation (T&I) services under an existing offshore facilities contract.
It said the works commenced in the second quarter (2Q) of 2026 and are expected to be completed in 3Q 2027.
Meanwhile, its drilling business secured a notice of assignment (NOA) from Petronas Carigali and a new contract from Vestigo Petroleum Sdn Bhd to provide TADR services.
The NOA and new contract are expected to commence sequentially in the third quarter of calendar year 2026, involving offshore development drilling campaigns in Malaysia.
“With these new additions, the company’s order book currently exceeds RM6 billion, underscoring Vantris Energy’s continued focus on building a sustainable, high-quality order book through opportunities aligned with its core capabilities, execution certainty, and long-term value creation,” it said.
Vantris Energy group chief executive officer Muhammad Zamri Jusoh said following the completion of the group’s restructuring, the company has entered the new financial year with a clearer strategic direction and stronger operational foundation.
“These awards reflect the continued progress we are making in rebuilding the business through disciplined and focused execution.
“Our priority is to strengthen our position in core markets where we have proven capabilities, established customer relationships and a strong execution track record,” he said.
For the E&C business, Muhammad Zamri said the company remains focused on opportunities aligned with its offshore installation strengths and balanced-risk profile, and its drilling business continues to build on its market-leading position and operational reliability.
“Together, these awards reinforce our commitment to converting quality order book wins into consistent execution that supports stronger operational and financial performance,” he added.
