HE Group Accepts LOI For Johor Data Centre Electrical Works Worth RM47 Mln

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 11 (Bernama) -- HE Group Bhd’s wholly owned subsidiary, Hexatech Engineering Sdn Bhd, has accepted a letter of intent (LOI) to proceed with the supply and installation of 275-kilovolt (kV) electrical works for a data centre in Johor, valued at approximately RM47 million.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the electrical engineering services provider said Hexatech Engineering accepted the LOI, dated Aug 7, 2026, today.

“The contract value for the project is approximately RM47.00 million, inclusive of six per cent service tax (SST),” it said.

The name of the client was not revealed in the filing.

HE Group said the formal contract is expected to be finalised and executed by the third quarter of 2026.

“A further announcement will be made upon the execution of the formal contract,”  it added.
