KPJ Healthcare MD Resigns, Effective Sept 1, 2026

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 21 (Bernama) -- KPJ Healthcare Bhd president and managing director (MD) Chin Keat Chyuan, 52, has resigned from his positions, effective Sept 1, 2026, to pursue other interests.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, the private healthcare provider said chief medical director Professor Datuk Dr Hanafiah Harunarashid will assume the role of officer-in-charge, effective Sept 1, 2026, pending the appointment of a new president and MD.

According to KPJ’s 2025 annual report, Chin was appointed president and MD effective Sept 1, 2023.
