Petronas Dagangan Net Profit Rises To RM387.21 Mln In 2Q 2026, Declares 25 Sen Dividend

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 24 (Bernama) -- Petronas Dagangan Bhd’s net profit rose to RM387.21 million in the second quarter ended June 30, 2026 (2Q 2026) compared to RM265.53 million in the same quarter a year ago.

In a Bursa Malaysia filing, the company said higher net profit during the quarter was driven by higher gross profit from the commercial segment, partially offset by lower margins from the retail segment coupled with higher expenditure.

Revenue also jumped to RM16.09 billion from RM9.07 billion previously, mainly contributed by higher average selling prices coupled with higher sales volume.

“The commercial segment recorded an increase in revenue of RM2.92 billion or 70 per cent contributed by higher average selling prices of 80 per cent, offset by lower sales volume by six per cent.

“Convenience segment revenue recorded for the quarter stood at RM64.9 million, marginally higher by RM700,000 or one per cent compared to the corresponding quarter last year,” it said.
