YPU Provides Digital Business Hub To Help Entrepreneurs Strengthen Market Presence
KUALA TERENGGANU, Sept 10 (Bernama) -- Yayasan Pembangunan Usahawan (YPU) Terengganu has taken the initiative to provide the Terengganu Digital Business Hub to strengthen the capabilities of and expand the digital marketing of local entrepreneurs.
Entrepreneurship, Human Resources, Cooperatives, and Consumer Affairs Committee chairman Datuk Ariffin Deraman said that the programme is expected to benefit around 500 active digital entrepreneurs registered with YPU in the state.
"The state government, through YPU, spent RM75,000 on setting up the TikTok Shop Live Studio @ Terengganu Digital Trade Hub, developed in collaboration with TikTok Shop Malaysia.
"The launch of this studio is a timely step in helping entrepreneurs strengthen their brands, master digital marketing, and expand their product reach to a larger market," he said at the launch event of the Market Innovation Showcase 2026 and StudioTikTok Shop Live @ Hab Digital Niaga Terengganu at the Terengganu Trade Centre here today.
Ariffin said that initially, the hub, equipped with two studios, will operate from 9 am to 6 pm on working days, accommodating 10 to 12 entrepreneurs per day.
He added that his team plans to extend studio operating hours into the evening to meet the demands of entrepreneurs after enhancing safety aspects in the future.
