FBM KLCI Futures Opens Higher On Friday

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 18 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened higher on Friday.

At 9.38 am, the September 2026 contract rose 1.5 points to 1,655.5, the October 2026 and December 2026 contracts both added two points to 1,654.0 and 1,661.0, respectively, and the March 2027 contract gained  three points to 1,646.0.

Turnover stood at 1,877 lots, while open interest totalled 43,990 contracts.

At 9.42 am, the FBM KLCI inched up 0.63 points to 1,675.37 from Thursday’s close of 1,674.74.
