Destini Shares Up After Its Unit Inks MoU With Siemens Mobility

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 24 (Bernama) -- Destini Bhd was traded higher in the early session today after its announcement that its unit, M Rail Technics Sdn Bhd (Railtec), has entered into a memorandum of understanding with Siemens Mobility Sdn Bhd to advance digital railway maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) capabilities in Malaysia.

As at 10.07 am, its share price rose half a sen to 23 sen, with 145,900 shares changing hands.

In a filing with local bourse yesterday, the diversified industrial group said the partnership marks a significant milestone in its commitment to enhancing Malaysia’s railway MRO capabilities.

"By combining Siemens’ world-class technology and digital expertise with Railtec’s deep local operational experience, we are positioning Railtec to lead the transition toward data-driven, smart maintenance solutions," said its group managing director Datuk Seri Shahril Mokhtar.
