KLCI Futures End Mostly Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 15 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed mostly lower on Thursday. 

At the close, the October 2026 contract decreased 3.5 points to 1,618.00, the November 2026 contract fell two points to 1,620.00 and the December 2026 contract slipped 16 points to 1,611.00.

Conversely, the March 2027 contract jumped 12.5 points to 1,624.50.

Turnover went up to 6,725 lots from 6,458 lots yesterday, while open interest eased to 45,597 contracts from 45,652 contracts previously. 

At 5 pm, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) slid by 4.02 points, or 0.24 per cent, to 1,623.70 from  Wednesday’s close of 1,627.72.
