GDB Unit Secures RM1.017 Bln Contract From Perdana ParkCity

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 26 (Bernama) -- GDB Holdings Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary Grand Dynamic Builders Sdn Bhd has secured a RM1.017 billion contract from Perdana ParkCity Sdn Bhd to undertake building works for ParkCity Residences in Desa ParkCity.

In a statement today, the construction group said the contract, its largest residential award to date, lifted its year-to-date contract wins to a record RM1.81 billion and its total order book to approximately RM2.05 billion, providing the group with earnings visibility until 2031.

“The project comprises two residential blocks ranging from 49 to 63 storeys with 433 apartments, a seven-storey podium housing residential amenities and parking facilities, and a two-storey basement car park.

“Construction is scheduled to commence in November 2026 and be completed in August 2031,” it said.

Executive director and acting group managing director Andy Lai Wee Young said Perdana ParkCity had entrusted GDB with its flagship developments for more than a decade, reflecting its confidence in the group’s execution capabilities, workmanship and timely delivery.

“With a strong project pipeline across Peninsular and East Malaysia, we are well positioned to deliver sustained performance in the coming years,” he added.
