YYForce Deploys 11 Service Robots At Two Singapore Hotels

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 30 (Bernama) -- YYForce Inc (YYForce) has deployed a fleet of 11 autonomous service robots at the Novotel Singapore on Stevens and Mercure Singapore on Stevens hotel complex under a 24-month commercial agreement.

“The commercial deployment of our 11-robot autonomous fleet at Novotel and Mercure on Stevens represents a major operational milestone in physical AI and hospitality automation,” said YYForce Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Mike Fu.

The robots operate across the hotel’s daily hospitality and housekeeping work, including deliveries to guest rooms, which the company said would improve guest service and shorten the time taken for routine tasks.

They are connected to the building’s lift system, allowing them to call lifts on their own and travel between floors and towers in the multi-tower complex without staff assistance, YYForce said in a statement.

The robots are also linked to the hotel’s internal telephone system, allowing them to send automated notifications directly to guests’ rooms and coordinate with hotel staff in real time.

YYForce said the deployment reflects growing adoption of its robotics-as-a-service model, under which hotels pay for robot services instead of buying the equipment, generating what the company described as recurring, high-margin revenue.

The company said the deployment would serve as a model for further roll-outs of its robotics and automation services across hotels and facilities in Asia Pacific.
