TANJONG MALIM, July 31 (Bernama) -- The electric vehicle industry’s development should not focus solely on vehicle sales but must be supported by a comprehensive ecosystem, said Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani.
KUALA LUMPUR, July 28 (Bernama) -- The government has not introduced any price control mechanism for public electric vehicle (EV) charging services. Instead, charging rates are determined by charging station operators based on their respective commercial considerations.

KUALA LUMPUR, July 25 (Bernama) -- The government should consider expanding electric vehicle (EV) charging facilities in rural areas and introducing incentives for EV purchase in Budget 2027 that is scheduled to be tabled this October, said automotive industry practitioner Mohd Khairull Anuar Ismail.
