SHACMAN Targets Overseas Growth, New Energy Trucks

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 20 (Bernama) -- SHACMAN, a Chinese maker of heavy-duty trucks, commercial vehicles and automotive components, outlined plans to expand overseas and strengthen its new energy business at its Worldwide Partnership Conference & GlobeFest in Xi’an on Oct 15.

In his keynote address, Shaanxi Automobile Holding Group Chairman, Liu Yi said SHACMAN’s international vehicle sales grew significantly year-on-year in the first three quarters of 2026, with international business accounting for a steadily increasing share of its overall business.

As competition in the global commercial vehicle industry shifts, SHACMAN outlined three priorities, namely internationalisation as a driver of growth, leadership in new energy and deeper localisation. It also announced its 2030 targets for international markets.
