Lira Clinical Skincare Line Uses Lab-Grown Salmon Stem Cell Ingredient
KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 27 (Bernama) -- Lira Clinical, a global leader in corrective and brightening skincare, has launched REGEN, a skincare line made with an ingredient derived from laboratory-grown salmon cells, developed with San Francisco-based cultivated seafood company Wildtype.
The ingredient, which the companies call Wild Salmon Stem Cell-Conditioned Media or Marine Cellular Complex, is produced from salmon cells rather than actual fish, making it animal-free.
Lira Clinical in a statement said the line combines the ingredient with PDRN and copper tripeptide-1 to support skin hydration, circulation and firmness.
The company describes REGEN as the first clinical skincare line to use the ingredient and says it offers greater regenerative benefits than PDRN alone.
“PDRN is a buzzword now, but Lira is the first company to introduce wild salmon stem cell–conditioned media that now goes beyond the benefits of PDRN,” said Lira Clinical co-founder and chief executive officer, Metaxia Dalikas, adding that more clinical studies were planned.
The range comprises the REGEN PDRN+ Serum and the REGEN PDRN+ Crème for use in clinics and at home. The company says the crème improves skin density and structure.
The REGEN line is available through Lira Clinical’s professional channels and international distributors.
