KLCI Futures End Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 11 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed lower on Tuesday.

The August 2026 shed three points to 1,733.0, September 2026 slipped four points to 1,711.0, December 2026 eased one point to 1,713.0, and March 2027 contracts slid 2.5 points to 1,698.0.

Turnover increased to 6,661 lots from 4,899 lots on Monday, while open interest rose to 46,453 contracts from 45,567 contracts previously. 

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI eased 3.91 points to 1,731.46 from yesterday’s close of 1,735.37.
